Why Your Social Media Isn’t Bringing In Business
Posting regularly but seeing nothing back? The problem usually isn’t effort. It’s that posting was never connected to a strategy.
Plenty of businesses post consistently and still see little return. The likes are there, maybe, but the enquiries aren’t. That’s usually because the content was created to fill a calendar, not to move someone closer to buying.
Know what each post is for
Every post should do one of three jobs: build awareness with new people, build trust with people who already know you, or prompt action from people who are ready. If you can’t say which job a post is doing, it probably isn’t doing any.
Show the work, not just the brand
- Behind-the-scenes clips of real projects.
- Before and after transformations.
- Short answers to common customer questions.
- Customer stories, told in their words.
Make the next step obvious
Your profile should make it easy to enquire, book or visit your website. If someone loves your content but can’t work out how to contact you in one tap, you’ve lost them.
Social media works best as part of a system. It earns attention, your website earns trust and your follow-up earns the sale.
Measure what matters
Followers and likes are nice, but track profile visits, website clicks and enquiries that mention social. Those numbers tell you whether your content is actually working for the business.
